CBS Orders More "Password"
First CBS moved the show to both Thursday and Sunday nights, and now the network has decided to alter Million Dollar Password a bit more. It ordered six more episodes, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
The show, which has truly been one of the surprises this season, along with ABC's Wipeout, has done everything correctly when reinventing the show.
It consistently gives away big prizes, allows contestants to build momentum throughout the game and has likeable contestants (unlike many shows - Deal or No Deal specifically).
Other things that have helped the show gain steam throughout the summer is the use of intelligent celebrity players like Rosie O'Donnell, Steven Weber and Neil Patrick Harris. They also have brought in popular celebrities (who have faired rather poorly on the show) like Rachael Ray and Tony Hawk.
