Kanye West Fires Back at Critics from Bonnaroo Performance

Hip-Hop artist points fingers over lateness.

Back on Sunday, June 15, hip-hop artist Kanye West was scheduled to perform at the Bonnaroo Festival at 2:45 AM. However, the show got started approximately two hours late and the fans in attendance were outraged by West's tardiness.

Many at the show threw projectiles such as bottles and light sticks and voiced their displeasure with how late the performance began. Excuses were made about how Pearl Jam's performance, which occurred directly before West's, ran an hour later than expected.

The Grammy Award winner fired back earlier today with a lengthy caps-filled blog post flooded with profanity and evident frustration over the criticism he has received as a result of the late performance. However, he also managed to apologize to the fans who left the show disappointed.

West posted the blog on his official Web site, saying, "I'm sorry to everyone that I didn't have the ability to give the performance I wanted to, I'm sorry. Sometimes I go two, three days without sleep working on my performance. Having an expensive stage cuts my payday in half. Call me what you want but never say I didn't give it my all!"
