Britney Spears Permitted Partial Custody
26-Jun-2008
Written by: Justin Zaremba

As a result of a court ruling, Britney Spears has been permitted overnight visitation rights with her two sons.

Britney Spears won the privilege of overnight visits with her two young sons following a closed-door court session in Los Angeles on Tuesday, E! News reports.

Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told reporters, after the hearing, that Court Commissioner Scott Gordon changed Spears’s visitation status after putting a series of questions to Spears and her parenting coach, but would not officially confirm the nature of the alteration.

Spears has been working to regain visitation rights after losing custody of her two sons to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, in October. In January, Spears was barred from seeing the children, after a standoff with Federline’s bodyguards and subsequent hospitalization. Since Feb. 23, Spears has slowly been permitted to spend more time with her children.
