Pearl Jam Plays with Other Icons

Ace Frehley and C. J. Ramone had been invited to play at MSG with Pearl Jam.

The second night that Pearl Jam played at NYC's MSG, they asked former KISS guitarist, Ace Frehley, and C. J. Ramone to have guest spots during covers of their songs. Frehley played lead guitar during "Black Diamond," which was sung by Pearl Jam's drummer, Matt Cameron, and the first verse was sung by guitarist, Mike McCready. C. J. Ramone was present for The Ramones' "I Believe in Miracles."

Also appearing on stage that night were the Olsen twins, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, and Chris Martin, reported Reuters. The set list mainly consisted of songs from Pearl Jam's first three albums. They will play a show in Connecticut before coming back to New York to play a show that benefits the Robin Hood Foundation, a charity for anti-poverty.
