Michael Lohan Confirms Illigitimate Child

After spending years away from his daughter, Michael Lohan has been seen hanging out on the set of daughter Lindsay's new movie, Labor Pains.

E! News reported that in speaking to Lohan, he admitted to having a relationship with another woman, Kristi Kaufmann, while he and ex-wife Dina Lohan were separating.

Lohan told E!, "I was with her twice."

Speculations had been flying that Lohan had fathered another child while separated from Dina, and he confirmed, "Ten years later, while I was in jail, she called me and told me that her husband at the time turned up negative in the paternity test, and she told me that meant I was the father. I haven't seen [the woman] in 13 years. I believed her at first but now, out of nowhere, she's gone public."

Lohan claims his lawyers are working on the case, which will not anger Kaufmann at all, as she firmly believes Lohan is the father.

The girl, Ashley, an aspiring singer, has wished that Lohan would build the same career for her as he did for daughter Lindsay, but Kaufmann assures, "I'm not looking for the fame, I don't care about that, that's not what I want. I want support for my daughter, I want the truth to be known and I want her siblings to know who she is so that if they want a relationship with her then it's there."

Michael and Dina had four children during their 22-year marriage, Lindsay, 21, Michael Jr., 20, Ali, 14, and Cody, 12.
