Politically Motivated Anti-Obama and McCain Vandalism Occurs in Florida
According to Florida Today, rampant vandalism has occurred in the state of Florida, where people have apparently spray painted politically motivated hate messages about Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee John McCain.
Sixty parked vehicles across the street from City Hall were hit with the vandalism and an estimated $10,000 worth of damages was caused. One of the messages that was spray painted on certain vehicles reads, "Obama smokes crack." Witness Mark Lowe saw the damage and gave a statement in regards to the situation.
Lowe said, "I'm driving by and every car I see has been hit with spray paint. There is so much damage to them. There are messages written on them and the vandals left their business card, which is crazy."
The business cards that were left by the vehicles contain anti-Barack Obama and anti-John McCain messages. However, other cards contain positive messages about Obama's opponent from the Democratic primaries, Senator Hillary Clinton.
