American Idol 5 Contestant Bennett Is Pregnant
Paris Bennett is pregnant with her first child.
Former American Idol contestant Paris Bennett did not become an idol, but now she's becoming a mother.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting that the 19-year-old singer from Rockford, Ill., is pregnant with her first child.
Her mother, Jamecia Bennett, confirmed the news to the paper and said that Paris is also engaged. She failed to mention who the baby's father was and what he does for a living because he "chooses not to be in the public eye." She added that the baby shower is scheduled for August and the baby is due in October.
Paris Bennett showcased her singing voice on American Idol's fifth season in 2006.
