90-Year-Old Man in Critical Condition After Pit Bull Attack
A tragic story is being reported by the New York Daily News about a 90-year-old man who was viciously attacked in Staten Island by a pair of pit bulls. The unidentified elderly man is currently listed in critical condition at Staten Island's St. Vincent's Hospital.
The man was attacked in the Elm Park section of Staten Island, where the two pit bulls charged at the unsuspecting 90-year-old, savagely biting him relentlessly. The animals left the man completely decimated with blood pouring out of his wounds.
The most severe wounds that the man sustained are reportedly located on his legs and arms. Though no animals were present at the scene of the assault when officers responded to a report about the incident, Newsday is reporting that the pit bulls were caught near the 90-year-old man's home on John Street.
According to the New York Daily News, Animal Care and Control as well as local authorities are currently investigating the tragic attack.
