Jolie Could Take Weeks to Give Birth

At least that’s what the doctor says.
All right. This Angelina Jolie baby business is getting a little out of control.
The latest update from the actress’s French doctor is that Jolie may not give birth for another few weeks. Keep in mind that it was weeks ago when preliminary reports surfaced that Jolie had given birth to twins. As we all know now, those were wrong, and the publication who ran with them lost a great deal of its credibility. Well, not really, because it didn’t have much to begin with.
But here’s the latest update on Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt:
Dr. Michel Sussmann spoke at a quick news conference Wednesday in Nice, France, where Jolie is hospitalized. When he was asked about a potential due date for the actress, he replied: “I can’t give you a date. Let’s say the birth will happen in the weeks to come.”
He added that Jolie had checked into the hospital not because of a medical emergency, but just for simple observation.
“Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Mr. Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine,” the doctor, who doesn’t keep up with the marital status of the stars, said.
“Her hospitalization at this stage in her pregnancy is totally normal for a patient who had a Caesarean (section) during her first pregnancy,” he went on to say.
