DMX Arrested Again

DMX was arrested again on Wednesday for drug possession and animal cruelty.
DMX found himself in jail again after failing to appear in court and other complaints at a Pheonix airport on Wednesday, making his legal woes include that of drug possession as well as animal cruelty charges, reported Reuters.
A spokesman for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office told Reuters that Earl Simmons, aka DMX, was taken into custody after getting off an airplane from Florida. He was arrested twice in the state last week, once of driving without a license and again in a drug bust. In Phoenix, sheriffs arrested the rapper for failure to appear in court and driving without a license, Capt. Aaron Douglas told Reuters. The warrants are from past cases stemming from arrests for possession of marijuana and unauthorized driving of an ATV.
The rapper’s home is outside of Phoenix where he was arrested in May on suspicion of drug possession and animal cruelty after searches of his home apparently came up with drugs, weapons, dog carcasses and abused pit bulls, reported Reuters. Simmons ended up barricading himself in his bedroom at his home during the arrest before eventually surrendering.
DMX gave himself up peacefully on Wednesday at the Sky Harbor International airport in Phoenix as he stepped off the plane from Florida, Douglas told Reuters. He also pleaded guilty in New Jersey in 2002 to animal cruelty charges for neglecting a dozen pit bulls, according to Reporters. He was required to make a public service announcement as part of his sentence.
