Britney’s Clothes Put Up for Auction
3-Jul-2008
Written by: Ivana Cheong

Online auctioneers, “Gotta Have It!” are putting up memorabilia from various Hollywood A-listers to the public for their Rock ‘N Roll Pop Art Auction.

Seven items from Britney Spears’s collection will be offered, People reported.

Items include costumes from her “Drive Me Crazy” and “Oops, I Did It Again” tours, a sexy Santa dress she wore in a Pepsi ad, and a coat she sported at the 2000 Billboard Music Awards.

One of the featured items is from her New Mickey Mouse Club days. It is a t-shirt signed by Spears’s then costars, including Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Keri Russell.

“We expect it to go for between $15,000 and $20,000,” said “Gotta Have It!” owner Ed Kosinski to People magazine.

“Proceeds from the sale of the Spears memorabilia, which was provided by Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group on behalf of the singer, will go to a charity of Tri Star’s choosing,” reported People.

“The company’s owner, Lou Taylor, is a spokesperson for the Spears family.”

The auction will go from July 21 to August 6.
