Steve Irwin's Daughter to Become a Doll

Bindi Irwin, the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter, will have a doll in her likeness available at stores in September.

Bindi Irwin, the daughter of Steve Irwin, the late Crocodile Hunter, will be getting her own doll.

According to Yahoo News, the 10-inch Bindi Irwin doll will be clad in khakis, puffy pigtails and hiking boots. In addition, the doll will come with accessories such as binoculars, a camera and other outback gear, as well as a cockatoo, wombat and python.

A talking version of the Bindi Irwin doll will use such phrases as, "Crikey! Let's go help wildlife," and "You can make the world a better place."

The rubber dolls are expected to be in stores in September and will range from $15 to $20. A portion of the proceeds will help fund efforts to breed endangered species and rescue animals.

Bindi Irwin's career began with appearances on her father's shows. Later, Bindi expanded to live music performances and child-fitness DVDs, as well as a child-friendly version of her father's show, Bindi, the Jungle Girl.
