Madonna Attempts to Dispel Divorce Rumors
Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie decided to use religion as a means to ward off press speculation, attending Kabbalah services in New York, WENN reports.
Ritchie and Madonna attended a service at the Big Apple's Kabbalah Centre on Saturday, accompanied by their three children, in an attempt to show the strength of the marriage and their family. The call to worship came after weeks of being under media scrutiny, with rumors swirling that Ritchie and Madonna's marriage is doomed.
At the Kabbalah service, the legendary pop star sat with her children - Lourdes, Rocco, and David - on the women's side of the church, while Ritchie sat on the other side of the aisle. This is customary of the religion's tradition.
Further supporting the couple's claims that all is well in marital land, Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, has issued a statement reporting that the couple is not at all in the process of filing for divorce.
