It's Official: McConaughey Has a Son
Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves welcomed a baby boy on Monday.
It looks like Matthew McConaughey will now be transitioning from surfer dude to doting dad. Us Weekly has confirmed with his rep, that McConaughey's girlfriend, 25-year-old Brazilian model Camila Alves, gave birth to a baby boy on Monday evening in Los Angeles. The baby weighed in at 7lbs. 4oz. The couple's new bundle of joy has yet to be named. This is the pair's first child.
McConaughey had asked other parents for advice about his impending fatherhood while preparing for the birth. The 38-year-old Sahara star told Entertainment Tonight, "One thing I've heard that's consistent is, 'Whatever plans you make, throw them out the window!'"
