Rapper Injured in Crash, Bodyguard Killed
Around 4 a.m. on Monday, a van containing rapper Twista (a.k.a. Carl Mitchell) and his bodyguard Arthur Dixon crashed into a median on Interstate 90 near Erie, Pennsylvania. The van rolled several times before finally coming to a stop, ejecting all the passengers in the process. The driver was the only one not ejected from the car, as he was the only one wearing a seat belt. Dixon, also a longtime friend of Mitchell's, was killed in the crash. Mitchell and the other passengers were injured, but only one is still in the hospital.
Investigation into the crash is still pending, but the police believe the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
