Samantha Ronson buys alleged girlfriend, Lindsay Lohan, a “commitment” ring.
DJ Samantha Ronson has bought her presumed actress girlfriend, Lindsay Lohan, a Cartier diamond ring worth just under $22,000.
Ronson, 30, bought the ring on Monday as a gift for Lohan’s 22nd birthday whilst out window-shopping in Los Angeles.
The pair have been rumored to be dating, many friends have said they are, and even Ronson’s brother, record producer and musician Mark Ronson, has claimed the two are very happy together as a couple. The girls have been seen out holding hands and even kissing on P-Diddy's yacht at a party in Cannes back in May.
According to a source of the U.K.’s The Mirror newspaper: “Although Lindsay is the major breadwinner, Sam has her own money and is very proud.”
However, rumors of this being an engagement ring have been shunned as the source also stated: “It's not an engagement ring - simply a token of her commitment.”
Both girls have not yet openly clarified the nature of their relationship but have clearly been inseparable for months since Lohan’s return from rehab earlier this year.
