Actor Scott Bakula will join the cast of Ray Romano’s drama pilot, “Men of a Certain Age,” alongside Romano and actor Andre Braugher.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, actor Scott Bakula will star opposite comedian Ray Romano and actor Andre Braugher in TNT's drama pilot, Men of a Certain Age.

The pilot, which was created by Romano and Mike Royce, explores male friendship through the eyes of three college buddies, Joe (Romano), Owen (Braugher) and Terry (Bakula), who are in their 40s.

Bakula's character, Terry, is a handsome, intelligent but struggling actor possessing a minor celebrity who is dating significantly younger women. Bakula is best known for his roles in the TV series Quantum Leap and Enterprise.

Romano, the creator of the show, will portray Joe, a neurotic, divorced father who at one time hoped he would become a pro golfer and now is the owner of a party store.

Braugher, who will be in the remake of The Andromeda Strain, is best known for his role on Homicide: Life on the Street. In Men of a Certain Age, Braugher will play Owen, an overstressed husband and father who works as a car salesman at his father’s dealership.
