“Ugly Betty” Loses Cast Member

Gorham moves to CBS.
Christopher Gorham, who appears as the lovable accountant Henry on ABC’s hit, Ugly Betty, is making the move over to CBS, according to Reuters. The actor, who has appeared on Ugly Betty since 2006, is joining CBS’s new drama, Harper’s Island.
On Ugly Betty, Gorham competed for the heart of Betty, played by America Ferrera. In this past season’s finale, Betty made her choice between Gorham and Freddy Rodriguez, who plays Betty-admirer Gio, though the lucky guy was not revealed.
In Harper’s Island, a horror drama, Gorham plays another Henry, though this one will not lead as mundane a life. Harper’s Island follows the harrowing experiences of a group of friends who meet on an island near Seattle for a destination wedding. Gorham appears as the groom-to-be, according to Reuters.
