Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman Split After 5 Years
According to People, the comedy couple, Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman, have ended their five year long relationship.
"Jimmy and Sarah have and will have no further comment," confirmed by Kimmel's rep, Lewis Kay, and Silverman's rep, Amy Zvi, in a joint statement to People.
Earlier this year the couple were named "Funniest Couple Alive" by People. Silverman, at the time, had said their relationship worked "because we really, really, really like each other. He's kind and funny and maybe the most thoughtful person I know."
Silverman, 37, is the star of Comedy Central's The Sarah Silverman Program.
Kimmel, 40, said about the "Funniest Couple Alive" statement, "Sarah is funny and smart and good to look at, plus, she likes fat guys. What more could I ask?"
Kimmel is a talk show host on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where Silverman has worked on sketches with him.
