Knight Hurt by Henderson’s Statements

Christopher Knight was hurt by what Florence Henderson said about his marriage.
Brady Bunch actor Christopher Knight is upset with the remarks his on-screen mother, Florence Henderson, made about his marriage to model Adrianne Curry.
The 74-year-old Brady matriarch had expressed her skepticism about their union, saying that she had advised them not to tie the knot. Knight shared his feelings about Henderson’s remarks in a blog on his Myspace page.
He defended his love for the woman half his age, who he met on the set of The Surreal Life. The two later went on to star in their own reality show chronicling their relationship on VH1, called My Fair Brady.
The 50-year-old actor stated that despite the unconventional way the two met, he is deeply in love with Curry.
He wrote, “It hurts me deeply that someone that I have loved and respected for so many years; someone that has held an esteemed position in my life, would discuss overtly negative personal opinions about my marriage in a public forum. Since I was a child, I looked up to Florence as a consummate professional and as a woman of unique class. I can only hope these recent comments are an aberration or better yet, taken completely out of context.”
He ended his blog with, “I put forth the hope that one day both Adrianne and Florence, both of whom have played an integral role in my life, will find a way to come together in a peaceful and respectful way. In the meantime, the sanctity of my marriage should not be called into question.”
