Metallica's "Death Magnetic" to Appear in New "Guitar Hero" Games
While Metallica has not done much to endear themselves to their fans as of late, what with their core product waning in quality and their questionable crusade to prevent the downloading of music, their latest announcement may provide enough to right their turbulent ship.
According to Reuters.com, the band has announced on their Web site that every song from their album, Death Magnetic, will be available for download and purchase in Guitar Hero III, along with the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour; this piece of news should do much to intrigue fans of both their music and of rhythm-based video games.
This news was reiterated by Microsoft at the E3 conference in Los Angeles. While they are considering another specialized Guitar Hero game similar to Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, nothing has been confirmed.
Despite that, however, it is entirely possible that Metallica fans will do their best to make that dream a reality.
