Baby one more time...so that makes Spears a Stepmom?
Oops she did it again...got married that is. Britney Spears shocked her family and the world with her second wedding in 9 months.
The pop princess who seems to have recently given up her throne to the Simpson sisters, has joined Jessica in wedded bliss by marrying dancer and lover Kevin Federline.
According to Reuters, Britney, 22, and Kevin, 26, surprised their parents by walking down the aisle in a low-key evening ceremony Saturday at the home of a tailor who made the tuxedos for the groom and groomsmen in the wedding in Studio City.
"Yes, I can tell you the happy couple got married yesterday," David Frostman of Jive Records, a British spokesman for Spears, told Reuters in London. Frostman declined to provide further details.
According to US showbiz weekly Star magazine's web site, only 20 close family members, who thought they were going to attend an engagement dinner, attended the ceremony, which lasted just five minutes.
Britney donned a strapless white dress designed by Monique L'Huillier, with a long veil and tiara, and she carried a bouquet of pink and white roses, the star reported.
The couple exchanged rings and danced to Journey's "City by the Bay," the tabloid reported. Guests reportedly dined on chicken fingers, crab cakes, ribs, and Waldorf salad.
On January 2 of this year Spears married high school pal Jason Alexander in an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas. But the marriage only lasted three days and was annulled on Jan. 5.
Spears and Federline announced their engagement in June. Federline has two children with former girlfriend actress Shar Jackson.
