Milo Is in the Dog House

Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere recently purchased her very own mansion in Hollywood for an estimated $4 million. However, instead of inviting her costar boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia, to move in, she asked her best friend, leaving him "devastated."

"Milo was secretly hoping Hayden would ask him to move in to the new pad. He is keen to take their relationship to the next level by moving in together but Hayden is not ready for that," the source close to the couple told the Absolute Now Web site.

"She has told him she still wants some of her independence because she is young," the source added, according to Showbiz Spy. Considering the 13-year age difference between the couple and that the Heroes actress is barely legal, it is a good decision from Panettiere not to settle down just yet.

"She wants to stay young and is not ready to settle down yet, so moving in with a friend was the perfect answer for her. Milo was devastated but he has promised to wait," the source explained. In the meantime, Hayden has already begun decking out her luxurious new home!
