Jonas Brothers at VMAs

After touring with musicians Kelly Clarkson and Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers were able to make themselves more well-known singing songs like "Mandy." However, now they are going to join the list of big names to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards, alongside Janet Jackson, Sting and Madonna. This breaking news was revealed on July 18 on FNMTV before Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas amazed the crowd with a cover of Shania Twain's "I'm Gonna Get You."

In a press release, the Jonas Brothers said, "This is an awesome opportunity." According to MTV, the musical brothers admitted their excitement, saying, "We have grown up watching all the amazing and iconic performances on the VMAs. It is an honor to be a part of something so incredible."

Although this year's host, presenters and performers have yet to be announced, more information will be released in the weeks to come. The 2008 VMAs will appear live and only once on September 7 at 9 p.m. Be sure not to miss it!
