Katie's New "Do" Is a Don't

If Katie Holmes is attempting to prove her boldness when it comes to changing her hair, she definitely has all of us convinced. Just a month ago, the actress had a cute bob, but now she has taken it to the extreme by lopping off a few more inches. According to FOXNews.com, Katie's hair can look like anything from a "1930s-style mop top" to a "Cagney and Lacey '80s bob."

This sudden severe cut for the All My Sons Broadway actress came right as Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria was seen in a cut almost identical to both Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes. As a result, speculation has been arising that perhaps this was Katie's attempt to stay "one step ahead in the hair-raising stakes," according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

Hopefully, Victoria and Eva don't follow Katie's lead though!
