“O.C.” Star Loves Clothes

Rachel Bilson has her own clothing line.
O.C. actress Rachel Bilson has been on a roll lately, not only creating her very own fashion line for DKNY, but also starring in an ad campaign for it. In doing so, she will be following in the footsteps of many other celebrity designers who have chosen to star in their own ads.
Discussing the clothing she has designed, 26-year-old Bilson says, “This is something that I have been interested in doing for such a long time.” Bilson is so interested in developing Edie Rose that she has even put her acting duties on hold, according to MarieClaire.co.uk. “This line is my main focus right now,” she revealed to WWD earlier this year.
“I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously,” Rachel says. However, we will have to wait until her line debuts in September to see if the line should really be taken “seriously.”
