Miley Cyrus Gets Charitable
It's called the Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation, and it's what could land you a date with Miley Cyrus.
On Thursday night at 7 p.m. PT, Miley Cyrus will launch her first personal auction on eBay, reported Fox Entertainment News. The auction, powered by Auction Cause, will have bidders fighting over several of Miley's personal belongings, as well as a grand prize for which any Miley fan would go wild.
Prizes to be auctioned off will include select items from the star's wardrobe, such as her attire from High School Musical 2's film premiere, as well as 2007's Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party, all autographed, of course. Other prizes, such as signed posters, headshots and albums, will also be up for grabs.
But for one lucky bidder, the hours upon hours spent hitting the refresh button (and extending their credit limit) will pay off, when they are given the opportunity to accompany Cyrus down the red carpet to the upcoming premiere of Bolt, her newest movie.
The Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation, named in honor of Miley's grandfather, will collect every last dime of the proceeds, distributing the money to scores of charities helping disadvantaged children in America, Fox Entertainment News reports.
Meanwhile, Miley is hard at work on a book that will give readers brand-new insight into various aspects of her life, such as her upbringing and career. The book is due for release in the spring.
