Pop’s Biggest Stars Rock Fashion Show

Beyoncé, Fergie, and Lil’ Wayne set to perform at September 5 “Fashion Rocks” charity gala.
Many of the music world’s fashion trendsetters will be on hand for the fifth annual Condé Nast’s Fashion Rocks performance, coinciding with New York Fashion Week. The names on the lineup, released Monday by Condé Nast Media Group, hit all aspects of the Top 40 from the pop of Fergie to hip-hop’s Lil’ Wayne and Kid Rock to, well, rock.
Many of the performers are coming back from previous years, with Fergie on the bill for the third year running. Also on the lineup are Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, the Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Duffy.
Having an A-list lineup is nothing new to the fashion celebration. Previous performers have included Aerosmith, Jennifer Lopez, and David Bowie.
The concert will take place September 5 at New York’s Radio City Music Hall and will air four nights later on CBS. All proceeds from the event will benefit Stand Up to Concert. Additional performers and presenters are still to be announced.
