Mark Wahlberg Announces Wedding Plans

Finally, Mark Wahlberg has announced that he is ready for married life, leaving his fast-paced life behind him. The actor, whose frenetic lifestyle inspired HBO's popular show, Entourage, recently told People Magazine that a wedding is in the cards.

Wahlberg, 37, and girlfriend Rhea Durham, 30, are scheduled to have a formal wedding next summer, once their third child is born. According to People Magazine, Wahlberg said putting an end to his wild lifestyle was a crucial element in understanding what marriage, and his role as a husband and father, would be like.

"I wasn't prepared to be married - I don't care who it was - at [age] 20 or 30," he told People Magazine. However, as the star inches closer to 40, he says he is now ready for "committing to really making it work constantly and all the other things that go into building a solid foundation."

The announcement came on Thursday at San-Diego's international comic book convention, Comic-Con, where People Magazine caught up with Wahlberg. "We continue to grow in our relationship," he said. "I think we have a much better chance at succeeding and staying together."

Mark Wahlberg is currently promoting his new movie, Max Payne, which is scheduled to drop later this year.
