Shia LaBeouf Arrested for DUI
Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested in California on suspicion of DUI.
According to gossip site TMZ, actor Shia LaBeouf has been arrested on suspicion of DUI.
TMZ says law enforcement sources claim LaBeouf was involved in a car accident around 3 a.m. Sunday morning in Hollywood. After paramedics arrived, both parties were taken to the nearest hospital.
LaBeouf was later placed under arrest on suspicion of felony DUI after he "exhibited outward signs of intoxication" at the scene.
This isn't LaBeouf's first run-in with the law. In November 2007, he was arrested for criminal trespassing in a Chicago Walgreens after refusing to leave when confronted by a security guard. The charges were later dropped. In March of this year, an arrest warrant was issued after LaBeouf failed to show up for court regarding a ticket he received for unlawful smoking in Burbank, Calif. The warrant was recalled and the charges were later dismissed.
