Maggie Gyllenhaal Doesn't Want the Fame

The Dark Knight actress, Maggie Gyllenhaal, does not want her daughter Ramona to become an actress or anything else in Hollywood like her boyfriend Peter Sarsgaard and her brother Jake Gyllenhaal.

The actress has attempted to shelter her 2-year-old daughter, who was born in October of 2006, from the limelight, insisting that it was not a good place for children. "I kind of try to keep her out of this kind of [showbusiness] stuff. It's not really good for kids," Maggie explained, regarding how she did not want Ramona to seek out fame.

"I know it's like such a cliche . . . I really hope she does something else. I love what I do but I don't want to bring her around all of this stuff," revealed Maggie, according to Fametastic.

Reportedly, Maggie is so intent on protecting Ramona from the swarm of paparazzi as she grows older that she and her fiance, Peter, may soon move out of New York to somewhere out of the eye of the press.
