This edition of the DVD Dribble features releases of various seasons from prominent television series.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The First Season

The popular new television show that received five nominations at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is scheduled to have its first season released on DVD by Warner Home Video on August 19. With nearly seven hours of footage on three separate discs, fans of The Sarah Connor Chronicles are sure to be endlessly entertained by this upcoming release.

Once Sarah Connor realizes that her troubles from the past are far from behind her, she ultimately decides that she must go on the attack against the futuristic Skynet agents that have been stalking her family rather than continue to run from them.

Skynet is a computer system from the future that possesses the sadistic intention of destroying the entire world. Connor’s ultimate goal is to not only protect her family, but also to annihilate Skynet before it is inevitably created.

Kenny vs. Spenny Volume One

Two best friends, Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice, star in this reality sitcom that features the two constantly battling each other in outrageous, nonsensical competitions. They show throughout the season that they will stop at nothing to utterly humiliate, embarrass and one-up the other. Hotz and Rice display an uncanny lack of maturity for men of their age as they embark on completely random comedic acts.

The executive producers of Kenny vs. Spenny are Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who are reputable throughout the entertainment industry as the creators of one of the most popular cartoon/comedy shows of all time; South Park.

Kenny vs. Spenny Volume One is an unrated Comedy Central studio release that is scheduled to be made available for purchase on August 12.

South Park: The Complete Eleventh Season

South Park, one of the longest-running cartoon/comedy shows in American television history, continues to provide nonstop laughter throughout the country, year in and year out. Season eleven proved that the show is not losing any steam as it is widely regarded as one of the funniest seasons of all time.

This DVD release contains three separate discs with over five hours of show footage, including fourteen unrated episodes. Specifically, the eleventh season featured a few of the most legendary episodes in the animated show’s history such as “With Apologies to Jesse Jackson,” “Lice Capades” and “Le Petit Tourette.”

This Comedy Central studio creation is scheduled to be released on August 12 in retail stores nationwide.

Love Boat Season One

As one of the most popular television programs of the late 1970s, Love Boat’s season one DVD release was quite warmly received by those of the past generation. Thirty-one years after the classic television show first aired, Love Boat finally had its episodes released in retail stores nationwide on three separate discs.

One of the reasons this show was considered so groundbreaking was due to its versatility and the fact that it provided fun and entertainment for people of all ages. Though this DVD release does not contain an ideal amount of special features or exclusive extras, merely having the opportunity to visualize this legendary program once again has been more than enough to influence old fans of the show to purchase it.

Love Boat, an unrated Paramount studio release, is currently available in retail stores throughout the country.

Dave’s World – The First Season

In this comedy program that first aired fifteen years ago, Dave Berry, a Pulitzer Prize winning columnist played by Harry Anderson, endures the responsibility of balancing his career with spending quality family time with his wife and two children.

With over nine hours of footage that is contained on three separate discs, this DVD is sure to keep fans of this clever, witty comedy sitcom entertained.

A Paramount studio release, Dave’s World – The First Season will be available in retail stores nationwide on August 12.

Caroline in the City – The First Season

Lea Thompson once starred in this popular comedy sitcom, which lasted for four seasons, as Caroline Duffy. Duffy was a cartoonist who resided in Manhattan, New York whose comic strip, which was the name of the show, was wildly popular in the area.

She created the comic strip in response to happenings that occurred in her own life as well as the people involved in it. Throughout the show’s existence, it chronicled Duffy’s constant and futile attempts to find love in the big city.

Caroline in the City received ASCAP awards in back-to-back years from 1996 and 1997 for top television series. This Paramount studio release is slated for an August 12 release date.
