Rumors Fly Concerning Batman’s New Adversaries

Speculation is already arriving as to who will challenge the Dark Knight in his third film appearance.
The success of Batman’s second film, The Dark Knight, already has individuals wondering about who the caped crusader will challenge next in his fight for Gotham City’s safety.
According to IGN.com, the UK Telegraph has volunteered to throw their offers into the pool of speculation. Mentioning that the publication cited “unnamed sources” in their estimations, they have chosen Johnny Depp to play the Riddler, while Philip Seymour Hoffman portrays the Penguin.
Based on IGN.com’s reports, sources who spoke to the Telegraph claimed that Depp would be “perfect as the Riddler, and that he could take the character in another direction while still making it his own.” They continued by mentioning, “Who else would make a better Penguin than Hoffman?”
These rumors have occurred alongside other reports of who will portray which villains, including reports that Angelina Jolie might play the Catwoman. Regardless of whom gets casted where, the fact remains that Hollywood will not be at a loss as to who they should choose.
