Lohan was unimpressed by police chief Bratton’s insensitive comment.)
Lindsay Lohan has spoken out against Los Angeles police chief William Bratton, following a comment suggesting that the star has “gone gay.”
A Los Angeles city task force meeting was recently called to address the issue of increasingly aggressive paparazzi. While this is definitely something that is affecting celebrities more and more, Bratton did not endorse the initiative, reported BBC News.
He later discussed the “problem” on Los Angeles news station KNBC, saying "If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving, Paris is out of town not bothering anybody, thank God, and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don't seem to have much of an issue."
The police chief was clearly making a reference to the considerable amounts of time that Lohan has been spending with friend Samantha Ronson. However, despite numerous recent rumors regarding the star’s sexuality, her publicist has denied all suggestions that the two are in a relationship, reported BBC News.
In a paparazzi-filmed video posted on TMZ.com (Irony? Anyone?) Lohan had this to say to Bratton: "Police chiefs shouldn't get involved in everyone else's business when it comes to their personal life. It's inappropriate."
