However, Witherspoon has now been dating Jake Gyllenhaal secretly since last summer, although they did not go public until last October.According to Daily Mail's sources, the couple may be getting married before the end of the year. The source from the set of the actor's upcoming film, The Prince of Persia, says, "Jake is telling everyone they are getting married at Christmas."

However, rumors claim that convincing Witherspoon was not an easy task, because the actress did not accept his first proposal. "He told me he had proposed several times but she kept telling him she wanted to give their relationship more time," the insider reveals, according to Fametastic.
