Daughter Says James Garner Is “Fine”

Legendary actor is recovering and healthy.
Gigi Garner, writer and daughter of beloved actor James Garner, insists that her father is healthy and recovering, despite media speculation, WENN reports.
Photos of the star at a California hospital – being helped into a wheelchair by a nurse and his driver - sparked rumors that Garner is seriously unwell. However, his daughter feels that these photos were misleading and there is no cause for alarm.
“He had a stroke on May 9th but he's doing well. He's doing really well in fact. He's perfect,” she explains.
The 80-year-old Rockford Files star was hospitalized for three weeks following his stroke and subsequent surgeries. However, the actor’s representative maintains that during the instance in which the misleading photo was taken, “Jim was at the medical center for a routine outpatient check up with his doctor.”
