Lauren Conrad's Emmy Couture
Lauren Conrad, star of MTV's hit reality series, The Hills, has been chosen to design a dress to be worn at the Emmy Awards.
"I am so excited for this opportunity," Conrad told an E! Online reporter. "I have so many great ideas, and I can't wait for the dress to be revealed on Emmy night."
The dress (or dresses) will be worn by the trophy-bearing girls who carry Emmy statuettes on stage for presenters to hand to winners, the academy said to the Associated Press. The trophy bearers also walk the Red Carpet for the pre-show.
Any hints as to what the dress will look like? Conrad only revealed in a statement to the Associated Press that, "I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist."
The Emmy Awards show will be broadcast live on Sept. 21 on ABC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
