Cyrus Reveals She Dated Nick Jonas

After months of fan speculation, Miley Cyrus has finally spoken out about her relationship with Nick Jonas-and reveals that they were once a couple, the New York Daily News reports.

"We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met," the Disney star said during an interview with Seventeen Magazine. Cyrus claims that the "Jonas Brothers" singer was the one who initiated the relationship, saying, "He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, 'I think you're beautiful and I really like you.' And I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I like you so much.'"

Up until now, the two tween sensations have claimed only to be good friends, denying any claims of being a couple. But now that the relationship is over, Cyrus does not seem to be keeping any secrets. "Nick and I loved each other," she said, adding that, "For two years he was basically my 24/7."

The Hannah Montana actress claims that public speculation and media scrutiny was the cause of their relationship ending. "It was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn't fun."

At the end of their relationship, which Cyrus says was late last year, she went into a "weird funk," dying her hair black and trying to look "hardcore."

So now that Nick is reportedly dating fellow-Disney star Selena Gomez, he and Cyrus's ties to each other are gone, right? Maybe not, according to her. "Maybe he'll be my best friend for the rest of my life or maybe I'll end up marrying Nick Jonas," she said in the interview.

Looks like the starlet plans on being involved in her ex's life for a while.

When asked for a comment, Cyrus's publicist would not comment.
