Tori Spelling No Longer Part of 90210 Spin-Off
Actress demanded a bigger paycheck for cameo in new TV show.
Donna Martin has moved from the 90210 zip code. According to the L.A. Weekly, Tori Spelling will no longer reprise her role as the Beverly Hills boutique owner on the spin-off for 90210 premiering Sept. 2.
According to sources, the actress bailed after finding out that she would be getting from $10,000 to $20,000 per episode while fellow 90210 alumni Jenny Garth and Shannen Doherty would be paid from $35,000 to $50,000 per episode.
"She thought she deserved parity, and she's got a point," an insider explained.
Spelling has reported that her appearance in the show was cancelled due to scheduling problems. Rumors that the CW might use Spelling later in the season are now emerging, but nothing has been confirmed.
