Radiohead Denies Composing Soundtrack for "Choke"

A spokesperson for Radiohead has denied that the band has composed the soundtrack to "Choke," a new film based on a novel by the author of "Fight Club," and has claimed that Radiohead has only contributed a song to be run over the final credits.

According to the BBC, a spokesperson for Radiohead has denied reports that the band has written the soundtrack to Choke, a new film based on the novel by Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk.

In an interview with BBC 6 Music earlier this week, Palahniuk claimed that it was "incredible" that Radiohead had written the score.

The author stated during the interview, he listened to Radiohead while crafting the novel.

Palahniuk said, "Clark Gregg [Choke director] . . . knew that I'd written Choke while listening to [Radiohead's 1993 debut album] Pablo Honey, with "Creep," over and over and over."

"So Clark got Radiohead to contribute a song; to write a song for the very end of the movie, the final credits.

"Apparently, Radiohead liked the movie so much, they've written the score."

Radiohead's spokesperson states that the band had only contributed a song to the film. The spokesperson stated that "Reckoner," from In Rainbows, would run over the final credits.

Choke, starring Sam Rockwell and Anjelica Huston, will be released in September.
