Tom Cruise a Superhero?

Tom Cruise wants to be a superhero.
You can never have too many box office superheros. With the success of the Batman and Iron Man movies, actor Tom Cruise may be testing his powers in a movie surrounding DC Comics' Sleepers.
Teaming up with Spider-Man director Sam Raimi, the movie is stated to be a spin-off of the spin-off comic book, confusingly enough.
The plot for the movie describes Sleepers as a special covert operative who is suddenly fused with an alien artifact that gives him the ability to deflect pain but can pass it on to others. While on his mission, he meets the evil Miss Misery, the one lady he cannot resist, taking his assignment to another level. Sounds like a chart topper? We will have to see.
At this point, the film is still pending. With no writers, director, or even said star Tom Cruise cast yet, Warner Bros. refuses to give up and plans to turn this vision into a reality.
