Hills Stars Make a Scene in Malibu

Two cast members of television's The Hills almost had it out in the middle of a Malibu restaurant Monday night.

Brody Jenner and Spencer Pratt came close to blows following the show's season premiere party. According to E! News, Pratt approached Doug Reinhardt, a new cast member on the show, and gave the baseball player his opinion of former best friend Jenner, saying that he had "no respect for Brody because he was always up Lauren's ass." He was, of course, referring to fellow Hills cast member Lauren Conrad, who currently has Reinhardt at the center of her romantic sights.

After the party at Malibu's Paradise Cove, the group headed over to Nobu for a celebratory dinner, but the atmosphere soon turned ugly when Jenner found out what Pratt had said about him.

"They almost brawled right there in Nobu," said an E! News source. "Spencer kept saying, 'I'm gonna choke him out.'"

The crisis was soon resolved and the two returned to separate tables to continue the evening in peace. After the meal, MTV producers at Pratt's table picked up the group tab, forcing Jenner to come within close proximity of Pratt once more to thank everyone at the table for the dinner.
