George Clooney Hits Italian Woman; Buys Her a New Car
The actor has starred in many highly-regarded films over his lengthy career.
After striking an Italian woman's car from behind, George Clooney decided to ignore the insurance companies and buy her a new car.
The blame for the accident, which occurred in Pennabilli, Italy, was entirely accepted by the Michael Clayton star (and Oscar nominee).
Clooney gave his gift to the unnamed woman when she went to the repair shop to pick up her old car. When she arrived, she found the new model of her Lancia Ypsilon, which is valued at around $28,000.
On the windshield of her brand new Lancia, Clooney left a note, saying: "I'm so sorry. Hope you'll forgive me. George Clooney."
