The Hold Steady's Craig Finn Talkin' Baseball

Craig Finn, frontman for the bar-rock band, will chat with ESPN about his favorite teams and season predictions.

Hold Steady frontman-singer-guitarist-songwriter-personality Craig Finn likes to talk about baseball. A lot. He's notorious as a die-hard fan of his hometown team, the Minnesota Twins, and it's the rare Hold Steady concert that doesn't feature a Yankees rant or game update. The band even recorded a version of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" for the Twins a couple years back that they used for the seventh inning stretch at home games. More recently, they told Spinner magazine their list of top baseball movies (Bull Durham takes the top spot).

Now Finn will get a chance to tell the sports fans themselves about his baseball obsession, courtesy of ESPN. On September 10's The Show, Finn will spend an hour talking about his beloved Twins' chances to take on the Chicago White Sox for the American League Central title and anything else that comes up. Fans can submit questions for the singer to answer on the show's Web site, questions about either baseball or the band.
