Miley Cyrus Celebrates Her Sweet 16 with a Disneyland Bash and Fund-Raiser

Calling all Miley Cryus lovers and fans: You are all invited to celebrate the teen sensation’s benchmark Sweet 16—if you can afford the $250 entry ticket!
Otherwise known as Disney’s Hannah Montana, the pop princess has confirmed that she will be hosting her 16th birthday a month early on Oct. 5 at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. She told Entertainment Tonight, “It's gonna be an awesome party with more than 7 things I like.” In addition to the party, Cyrus will reportedly be singing a few songs.
“I'm stoked!” Cyrus told Radio Disney. “Most everyone dresses up on their Sweet 16. Not me. I'm going to be ready to get in the water and ready to get on the crazy rides. That's all I want to do the entire time is ride the rides.”
This party also serves as a fund-raiser for Cyrus. According to the New York Daily News, the 5,000 tickets reserved for fans will go on sale on August 30 at 9 a.m. The sales from the “Share the Celebration” bash will benefit Youth Service America, which helps improve the lives of kids aged 5 to 25.
Like any other celebration at Disneyland, the party will probably have an ice cream cake, water rides, roller coasters, and hopefully, fingers crossed—a brand new car. Alongside a new ride, Cyrus’s birthday wish list also includes a Wii Fit and a puppy.
“I definitely want to get something bad on the road,” Cyrus told Radio Disney on Aug. 21, adding that the vehicle must be “big enough for all my friends and to scare all the cars away from me. I'm a good driver but it's everyone else that I'm worried about!”
So what's in store for the next chapter in the life of Miley? “This year one of my goals is not to stress, just kind of let life come as it is,” Cyrus told People. “I'm going to try and do that a little more. Just take things step by step instead of always having a plan.”
