Borgnine Is Proud to be Old!

The 91-year-old Borgnine is adamant on keeping his career going.
Hollywood actor and movie veteran Ernest Borgnine has absolutely refused to retire from acting in films, insisting that it has helped him to live to the age of 91.
The Oscar winning actor currently has a full schedule, even after all these years and has three films lined up to be released in 2008. Borgnine reveals that he believes many of his late contemporaries would still be alive if they had continued to act and work.
“These guys who say, ‘I can’t wait to retire. Hot dog!’ And after about a week they’re ready to pull their hair out, keep busy and you’ll stay younger and healthier, and you’ll be around a hell of a lot longer,” Contactmusic quoted the actor, as saying. Instead of feeling stifled by his status as a nonagenarian- an actor in their nineties- Borgnine has fully embraced it.
