26-Aug-2008

The rumors say that the Bravo star will present an award at the Primetime Emmys.
Kathy Griffin is going to present an award at the Primetime Emmys. At least that's the rumor that E! News is spreading.
The Emmys will air on Sept. 21, and though the show is rather exciting with all of the upsets that occur (see last year's Best Actor in a Drama Series being awarded to James Spader over James Gandolfini), it would be noteworthy with Griffin. Simply because no one knows what she'll say next.
Especially with this being the Emmys.
Last year, the star of My Life on the D-List caused an uproar among Christians with her comments after winning an Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program in the Creative Arts Emmy precursor show.
"I want you to know that no one had less to do with this than Jesus," the comedian said. "This award is my god now."
Her comments were later censored by the TV Academy when the Creative Arts Emmys aired on E!.
This year, Griffin is nominated for Outstanding Reality Program, and the results will be announced during the Creative Arts Emmys, and then broadcast on Sept. 20 on E!.
