In other words, the twins are fine, and Pitt and Clooney are excited about the upcoming election.
According to people.com, while in Italy promoting their new film, Burn After Reading, Brad Pitt and George Clooney had a great time joking their way through a press conference.
Pitt told reporters that his two month old twins Knox and Vivienne where doing well saying, “The twins are fine,” before jokingly raising his glass like a toast and taking a sip.
Pitt also joked when asked if he would have any more kids saying, “I’ll have two more by next year.”
Clooney had his own fun answering questions. When asked if he would ever get married and have children he teased, “I am so surprised to hear that question. This honestly is the first time I’ve ever been asked that question. I’m getting married and having children today.”
His costar Pitt then jumped in, “And until then, I’ll be sharing mine with him.”
The only time the two got serious is when they where asked about the up coming election and where they would be.
“I’m happy to be here. This is one of my favorite places in the world to be. I like to watch the conventions on TV. I think the stars of the convention should be the people who are being elected,” Clooney said.
“I’m pessimistic, but I’m optimistic. I think it’s a very exciting time in American politics,” he continued.
Pitt agreed saying, “I’m optimistic, too. It’s a vital time. It’s a defining time. I’m excited about where things are going.”
