Don LaFontaine, who has done voice-overs for nearly 5,000 movie trailers and nearly 350,000 commercials, programs, files, and other presentations, is in critical condition at Cedars Sinai Medical Center due to a blood clot in his lung.

Voice-over legend Don LaFontaine is in critical condition at Cedars Sinai Medical Center due to a blood clot that is lodged in his lung, his family announced via Mediabistro.com.
LaFontaine, who is best known for his powerful voice, was taken to the hospital on Saturday after experiencing shortness of breath on Friday.
On Tuesday, LaFontaine's family released a statement calling for support for the voice-over performer.
Despite reports citing improvement, LaFontaine is said to be in critical condition.
According to his Web site, LaFontaine has recorded nearly 5,000 movie trailers and nearly 350,000 commercials, programs, files and other presentations over the course of his 40+ year career.
