Suge Knight Arrested for Drugs, Domestic Violence in Vegas

Hip-hop mogul Suge Knight was arrested Wednesday for allegedly beating and terrorizing his girlfriend, assault with a deadly weapon and possession of ecstasy and hydrocodone.
Rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight is sitting pretty in a Las Vegas jail on drug and assault charges after he was accused of beating his girlfriend of three years, according to the Associated Press.
Suge’s charges include assault with a deadly weapon, possession of controlled substances and battery domestic violence.
Suge allegedly attacked his girlfriend early Wednesday morning. The girlfriend claims she was punched in the back of the head while they were driving and tried getting out of the car. Law enforcement told TMZ.com that the girlfriend claimed to have grabbed the steering wheel to cause an accident and draw attention to the altercation.
The car hit a curb and stopped, allowing the girlfriend to flee. The report states that Suge allegedly chased her and caught her when the authorities came.
Authorities saw Suge kick the woman in the head while he was holding a knife, according to TMZ.com.
He is accused of having the drugs ecstasy and hydrocodone when he was arrested, AP reported.
Lawyers and representatives for Suge have declined to comment.
Suge has a long record of arrests, including charges of auto theft, attempted murder, possession and assault.
Suge is the co-founder of Death Row Records.
